If you liked to make puffy t-shirts when you were little (and let's be honest, who didn't), then you're going to love making window decals! They don't require a lot of supplies, just patience, a steady hand, and a cute design.

If you are a visual learner, here's my Instagram and TikTok videos showing the process.

Supplies:

Process:

  1. Draw or print the design you want to make on a piece of paper

  2. Place the paper face up in a Ziplock bag

  3. Trace the outline of the design in black gallery glass paint

  4. Wait for the black to dry / become matte

  5. Fill in your shapes with the colors of your choosing.

    1. TIP: Don't fill all the way to the edge, then use a toothpick to push the paint up to the black edges.

  6. Use a toothpick to swirl the paint. This will give you the stained-glass effect.

    1. Note: White gallery glass paint will dry clear!

  7. Wait 24 hours for the design to dry, then peel it off of your Ziplock bag carefully

  8. Apply to a clean window and enjoy!
